We are now into the month of September and the lazy days of summer feel like a lifetime away. I am wishing the year would move as slowly as the surprise turtle we found on our doorstep one day but no such luck.
I also wish I had time to lay around like Oliver but all my fellow Mom friends know that there is no rest for the weary. There are too many school activities and after school activities to find time for that.
Kaylee managed to fill a little free time one weekend duck hunting with her Dad. It was her first time to go and she actually got the second duck she shot at. I am not a hunter but that sounds to me like she is a pretty good shot.
Just my sweet girls in amount of affection between the two of them.
We even got a visit from Aunt Landrea (aka RaeRae)
Of course, we could not let September pass us by without another trip out on the boat for little swimming and fishing.
