Our Little Bride!

I had to post these pictures of how Campbell spends her days at home when we have no where to go. That is right she spends her days dressing up as every princess you can imagine. Her favorites are the Barbie Princesses though. I just love watching her run into the den with a different dress on every 10 minutes or so. I had to take these pictures so I can use them in her wedding one day in the very distant future. She has so many dress-up clothes I bought a cedar chest for the playroom to keep all her things in. (shoes, purses, clothes, jewelry) She calls the chest her "treasure". At least they are all in one place now and she can play until her heart's desire is fulfilled. Fun times!

Game On!

Well a new chapter in life has begun for Kaylee...softball!! We have now experienced gymnastics, soccer, musical theatre, and softball. I said we would try it all until Kaylee found something that she loved and I think we are well on our way!

Kaylee is on the Dazzlers softball team and they are so cute. I think Kaylee is most excited about her Daddy being the assistant coach. Even though this is Cary's busiest time of the year he has been at every practice and game even if it meant going back to the office after the girls were in bed. I fall in love with my sweet husband all over again when I see how great he is coaching all the girls on the team. He, Coach Robb, and Coach Renee make a great team! They are all three very good about teaching the girls in a positive way so that they are learning and having fun. Their motto is "Learn, Work, Play, and have a little Fun along the way!" This picture is from the opening ceremonies last weekend. The girls played in a tournament that night, they had three games back to back. I was tired just watching them:-)

Here is Cary pitching to the girls.

Here is Kaylee up to bat. Doesn't she look so cute? I must say I am very impressed with how quickly my daughter is learning The Game.

The Dazzlers played another game last night and won 13 to 12! The girls have all worked so hard and come so far since last weekend. We went to Jason's Deli to celebrate after snowcones of course. If you need to see me anytime soon you can catch me yelling for the Dazzlers at the ballfield.

Spring Break 2009!!

Since my sweet husband burns the midnight oil this time of year the girls and I packed up and went to my parents for a few days. We had a wonderful time getting to be with them for a few days and Nana even took some time off to spoil us rotten. Of course, Papa and Great Papaw did their part too.

On Monday we went to the outlet mall in Roundrock and found all kinds of deals. The girls got some adorable clothes and shoes. Nana also got their Easter dresses for them from my favorite store Strasburg! My favorite store was the OshKosh outlet which already had their Spring/Summer lines on sale for 40% to 60% off. It does not take long for the money to add up when you find a bargain, but I managed to get a lot of clothes for my money. We did bribed the girls with a trip to the Disney store if they did not complain and they did wonderfully. It toook Campbell a while to pick something out but both girls ended up with Aerial gowns, new Disney cups, a Jasmine doll for Campbell and a stuffed Oliver for Kaylee. My oldest loves her stuffed animals. I think it took Campbell so long because she was overwhelmed by all the Disney Princess choices there were to choose from. We all worked up an appetite from all the shopping so Nana was nice enough to treat me to one of my favorite places Mimi's Cafe! They have the best fried pickle slices. I had forgotten how huge their portions were, Nana and I will definitely share something next time. Delicious! Thanks again Nana for the clothes for all three of us:-)

On Tuesday the girls were so excited to go to Build A Bear. Kaylee had not forgotten that Nana promised once the Build A Bear had opened in Waco she would take the girls to pick an animal to have for their own. I think she told Kaylee that before Christmas, my oldest does not forget a thing which can be good and bad:-)

Here is Campbell anxiously awaiting all of the fun! She had never been to a real Build A Bear before so it was a little overwhelming to try to decide on one stuffed animal. She did finally decide on a very soft brown rabbit though.

Next up was Kaylee who knew exactly what to expect. She had her animal picked out in record time. She chose a furry white lamb. Since we are close to Easter I suppose both of the girls were thinking ahead.

Here is Nana getting in on the action!

The girls with the final products! Kaylee was so excited that she found Sketchers for her lamb to
wear and Campbell was most excited about the glitter flip flops and matching shiny pink dress. Both girls walked away very happy.

Once we returned home there was a special treat waiting for us...Great Papaw! Both of my girls treasure their time with Great Papaw. He gets on the floor and plays games or dolls with them. I love that he is able to do this and that my girls will have some of the same wonderful memories that I have of playing with him at their age. We are so blessed that he is still a part of our lives.

On Wednesday we decided to rest our bodies and Papa and Nana's wallet by staying home. The girls had talked Nan into a trip to Target where she bought them each a toy and two movies. So we spent Wednesday playing games and watching some movies.

It was a wonderful week for all three of us. There cannot be anything more fun than being spoiled a little. I even got to enjoy Pei-Wei on a date night with my Dad. It was wonderful to be able to talk for a while and enjoy some delicious food with him. Kaylee thought it was hilarious that I went on a date with my Dad. I thought it was great!

Thanks Papa, Nana, and Great Papaw for all the games, shopping, good food, and a little alone shopping time that I got to enjoy. We love you all very much and look forward to seeing you again soon.
