Well to say that Kaylee's year did not go as planned would be the understatement of the year. Through it all these are some of the girls who made being homebound not so bad. These girls came by to visit with goodies, texted her words of encouragement and continued to love on her as only a dear friend can. These faces have won my heart forever!
Since Kaylee could not participate in any end of year activities at school one of Kaylee's best friends Maddie along with one of my dearest friends and her mom, Marci threw her a dinner at the country club. It was a huge surprise to Kaylee and it was so good to see her laugh and smile with friends outside of our home. Even costochondritis will not keep this girl down.
Kaylee finished the year with Outstanding Citizenship, A Honor Roll and Academic Excellence all while spending every day in pain with little sleep. God has great things in store for this girl. There is nothing she cannot do!
